Despite what the iconography suggests, St. Patrick was not a leprechaun.
I know this because leprechauns do not exist. They are simply characters in the folklore of bigfeet.
So if you see a “leprechaun” tomorrow, just smile and know that it is a little bigfoot playing dress up.
