I love the day after Halloween because once again nobody is concerned about me making sure that my darling children look out for oncoming traffic as they travel after dark in strange and dangerous neighborhoods without parental supervision or the slightest clue as to how to get home.

If all goes well they won’t make it back till next Halloween and I will get out of buying Christmas presents again.
