Sometime back in olden times, before the age of the “war on terror,” antiwar.com became the best world wide web page for a roundup of links sending people to news on U.S. foreign policy and militarism. Now it is true that pagesthatolivernorthhasreadoratleastvisited.net has recently made remarkable progress and closed much of the gap, but I would say antiwar.com still remains the best site for this information and an easy first ballot entry in the Website Hall of Fame.

All of this is my small way of saying, please consider donating to antiwar.com, which is holding a fundraising drive this week. I don’t know what they spend the money on, for the record. Maybe they waste it all on Iraqi women.
